There are 100s WWII images about the Philippines, all or most aerial. I copied only Corregidor or related images for this purpose of sharing them with friends with similar interests. 10 Corregidor pictures were in a larger size, 7 Corregidor images were in a very small size and 6 other images as related subject material.

Now the 6 related images to the battles of Bataan and Corregidor.

Zf597. Fort Hughes on Caballo Island in Manila Bay under aerial attack by the Allied Forces in 1945. This is a San Diego Air and Space Museum WWII image from the donated album of T.B. Suitor.

Zf598. Fort Wint on Grande Island in Subic Bay under aerial attack by the Allied Forces in 1945. I think I see an artillery piece and we seem to look towards Sueste Point at the north shore of the Subic Bay entrance. This is a San Diego Air and Space Museum WWII image from the donated album of T.B. Suitor.

Zf600. This is a Japanese Searchlight, apparently being transported. Searchlights were an important part of the Coastal Defense Systems in Manila and Subic Bays. This image was shot in Rabaul in 1945. This is a San Diego Air and Space Museum WWII image from the donated album of T.B. Suitor.

Now the 6 very small Corregidor images; although small, if you look close, we can see some details we did not notice before.

Zf604. This is the clearest picture I have seen of the Stockade level in 1945 in Fort Mills on Corregidor. Hey, fots2 and oozlefinch, I see at least 2 AA guns and they are still in their positions. This is a San Diego Air and Space Museum WWII image from the donated album of T.B. Suitor.

Zf605. This picture shows the Malinta Hill Tunnel west entrances in Fort Mills on Corregidor Island, the fuel storage entrance is pretty clear. Notice there seems to be in position, still pieces of rail tracks over the trolley overpass at the bottom of the picture. This is a San Diego Air and Space Museum WWII image from the donated album of T.B. Suitor.

Zf606. This must be Battery Crockett of Fort Mills on Corregidor Island but what is unique about this image is that machinegun tower. That is the clearest picture we seen of the machine gun towers but I believe it was ordered not to use them; they seemed to be a great target for strafing runs. This is a San Diego Air and Space Museum WWII image from the donated album of T.B. Suitor.

Zf607. This is a view down the Engineering Ravine in Fort Mills on Corregidor Island from a point above and between the two Middleside Barracks. This is a San Diego Air and Space Museum WWII image from the donated album of T.B. Suitor.

f608. This obviously is the 12 Inch Battery Hearn in Fort Mills on Corregidor Island. This is a San Diego Air and Space Museum WWII image from the donated album of T.B. Suitor.

Zf609. This is a view of Fort Mills on Corregidor Island in 1945 looking east. Smoke and dust clouds from bombing runs prevent it being a clear picture. The aircraft camera is somewhere above the officer quarters, near the Fort Mills Hospital. The hospital is at right. This is a San Diego Air and Space Museum WWII image from the donated album of T.B. Suitor.
