The Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum is involved in the 75th Anniversary of VJ Day. This is the description of a Flickr Album, they established which also outlines most of the activities for this event!
The 14 WWII Warbirds that will fly in the 75th Commemoration of the End of WWII Legacy of Peace Aerial Parades arrived at Pearl Harbor aboard the USS Essex on August 10, 2020. “Salute Their Service, Honor Their Hope” is the theme of the commemoration in Hawaii in recognition of the WWII veterans and civilians who contributed to the end of the war. The commemoration will include three Legacy of Peace Aerial Parades and will culminate with the official ceremony on USS Missouri (BB 63) on September 2. Flyovers of the warbirds will include: Around Oahu (August 29), Connecting the Military Bases (August 30) and Fly Over the Battleship Missouri Memorial, Pearl Harbor to Waikiki (September 2).

Zd051. (-26) 200821-M-SS016-0008 The Patrol Bomber Catalina (N9767), also known as the “Princess of the Stars,” lands at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Aug. 21, 2020. The PBY offloaded a team of Navy EOD divers who searched for a sunken PBY Catalina that was lost during the attack on Dec. 7, 1941.
