Zg774.  Manilyn, 18 now, Rowena’s cousin, has stayed with us since she was 14, is left. She goes to college now. Emi, right, is our house help and hails from Rowena’s neighbor village in the Bicol Region. They are defrosting the fridge

Zg775.  Hallo Klaus, that is Linda, left. Then Mary Grace, the daughter of Sylvia who is in Norway right now. Next is Mary, Linda’s Mom. They are all relatives, then Rowena, my spouse, and Manilyn. We have always visitors; there is always life in the house.

Zg776.  Hallo Klaus, in what order do the ladies sit now? They are all relatives, we have always visitors; there is always life in the house.

Zg777.  It doesn’t look that way but it is dark in the kitchen because of the brownout. The emergency light is standing on the table so Manilyn can eat. I guess the flash on my camera works pretty good.

Zg779.  Karla, happy, as she can be; standing in front of our gate. I let her play in the rain. In the tropic it is not that tragic. Some time the children just have the greatest fun; one can have, just playing in the rain.

Zg782.  Karla is in the rain, across from our gate and next to the Sari Sari store. In the immediate neighbor hood are at least 10 little girls in her age group. They love to play. I buy my beer over there by the bottle. Regular San Miguel beer is now 18 Pesos; about 45.25 Peso to the US $ right now.

Zg783.  Two days ago we bought this bike for Karla’s 8th Birthday. She is very happy about that and is using it a lot.

Zg784.  With all the rain and brownout what can I do? Back, to reading books. It’s not that bad and one has to learn to live with it.

Zg785.  That is Randy, 18 years old, who is Rowena’s brother. You can see him in the last album in Rowena’s village about 10 years younger. He just learned to drive and is taking over some of the driving responsibilities; he is also going to college.

Zg786.  This is Totoi, another relative, who is staying with us. He is 15 years old and just had his birthday, that’s why we bought the other bike. I always wanted for him to stay with us and now that our back and forth to Hawaii came to an end, it became possible.

Zg787.  We also bought this bike for the two teenage boys we got in the house.

Zg788.  Yes, you see right; there are 3 computers in the pic. We got a 4th in another room. We have a broadband connection by an antenna to a router for wireless connection. Yesterday and today we had brownouts and interruption in the broadband service.

Zg789.  Women, Jesus, always want to buy things and do. The latest addition to the house- all those flower pots with those weeds in it!

Zg790.  Rainy Day at home, flower pots.
