These pictures are about the Naval Station Subic Bay & Olongapo City in 1981. These pictures were downloaded from the Defense Visual Information Center at about 2003. Two pictures were shot on different dates, one in 1987, the other 1992.

  1. I left in May 1974 and lived in Barrio Barretto Sept.1972-May 1974.The area hadn’t changed to much yet in 1981. But has really changed since than as I look at recent photos. I recognize the cemetery outside the back gate after crossing the bridge. I drove the road left of the bridge everyday to and from the base and Barrio Barretto. I lived on Morales street in the barrio cloes to the PC compound. The street is now Rizal street. I worked at Service Craft Harbor Tugs just below Cubi Hill.
