The State Foundation on Culture and the Arts holds a dedication ceremony for the new bronze sculpture monument honoring Filipino World War II veterans at the Waipahu Public Library on Friday, February 24, 2023. The monument consists of a grouping of three different bronze installations by artist Kelley S. Hestir.

The 3rd HART= Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation Track, Honolulu Rail Transit Track Special Track Assembly Machine is starting a new section of rail track at the Ke’Ehi Lagoon Beach Park. It is passing by the DAV Disabled American Veterans Park which is next to the Ke’Ehi Lagoon Beach Park. After crossing the Moanalua Stream and the Nimitz Highway it bends left and heads towards and is about to enter Dillingham Boulevard.

It is passing by the DAV Disabled American Veterans Park which is next to the Ke’Ehi Lagoon Beach Park. It is crossing here the Moanalua Stream and is running along Nimitz Highway towards the east.

And this is the area of the mouths of the Moanalua, and Kalihi Streams.
