Crisologo L. Ramasasa is a native of Balangiga, born, raised and worked as a teacher there. He is retired now and is still teaching at times in this town. He and I actually have a family relationship; his brother married a lady from a Sorsogon Village where my wife is from. I’m interested in History, witnessed the return of the bells in Balangiga, 15th Dec. 2018. I visited him in May 2024; he gave me this manuscript (27 pages) for a future book. I share it here for you pleasure.

Picture 00a. Crisologo L. Ramasasa presented me a copy of his manuscript of a future book Balangiga Massacre. The lady is the Balangiga Tourist Officer who helped me finding the author and distant in-law relative of mine.

Picture 00b. Cris and I got together in the evening at the beach of Balangiga for some soft drinks and pizza. I was thinking about the American soldiers and natives who had walked here in 1901 and died during the massacre in town.  The family of his brother lives in Olongapo, are close to my family and I showed him the pictures I brought of his brother’s family.
