On Wednesday we made it to Corregidor. Upon our arrival we booked a CFI Jeepney and took a 2 hour orientation trip on Corregidor, dropped off at Topside and walked back looking at sites. After we had a good looking-over of Battery Hearn I wanted to have a closer look at an about 4 meter deep hole nearby. This time I noticed that at the bottom the hole continued horizontal towards the battery, was that the purpose of this hole? Our friends Steve and Marcia Kwiecinski discovered a few years ago. I am sure the local Corregidor residents know about it and never deemed it important to mention it to us.
