They lift pieces into place and advance by extending to the next Pile-Foundation. We have been here a month and the machine doesn’t seem to move or it is just creeping along. Ze590. On my walk on the Pearl Harbor Bicycle Path I came across this sign (cropped now), it is related to HART, the Honolulu Rapid Rail System. This is about 150 meters from the entrance to McGrew Housing.

Ze587. These are the foundation pilings for HART; I’m standing at the intersection of Valkenburgh and Nimitz and I’m looking west. Behind me is the FRA Home which by the way is saved by the Hawaii National Guard.

Ze584. The Honolulu Rail System is also called “HART” which stands for Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation. This sign stood near the Makalapa Gate.

Ze561. My Grandson Dylan and my son in Law Keun are looking at a 105mm howitzer at the Army Museum in Ft. Derussy. This picture is very symbolic to me because I came from a divided country that is now united again. My grandson Dylan who is of Viet Namese ethnicity and that country is united again also, although under a communist regime. Keu is a son of a Korean-American family and his country is not united yet!
