This is a section of a map from the US Army publication “Triumph in the Philippines” by Robert Ross Smith. It was a terrific and very tough and very long battle. Both sides paid a heavy price. This area of the Villa Verde Trail, New Pangasinan-Nueva Viscaya Road is soaked in blood, that makes is sacred to me! That is why I am interested. This is where servicemen done their duty in the defense of Freedom! This segment of my presentation only deals with the advance of the 32nd Inf. Div. up the Villa Verde Trail.
