01 PHIL-AM Park, this is a 2017 picture of the Phil-Am Park, Topside on Corregidor.

The Philippine-American Friendship Park is now located Topside on Corregidor Island, the ex Fort Mills, next to the Cine and south of it. It has a nice stature of a Filipino and an American soldier supporting each other in stressful situation. A set of stone plaques has been set around the stature with the names of the units and their Commanders that defended the Philippines.

The plaques still looked pretty good then and I present 5 images of the plaques here. These pictures were shot counter clock-wise around the park.
The imprint descriptions on these plaques have noticeable deteriorated since 2017, which is very worrisome! A VFW comrade took these 2026 pictures but they are not in a particular order. Five (5) samples are presented here but all 25 images are in this Photobucket album, click here:
-The stature in the center of Philippine-American Friendship Park is well done and represents the camaraderie that existed in WWII between these Brothers in Arms.
