Zo608. This is Skipper Hill at Corregidor Bottomside, we are looking west. Those concrete steps are still there. It looks like the Army rigged a U. S. Flag on this hill. In earlier history Fort Mills had a saluting battery there.

Zo615. This is a scene of Filipinos lined up for chow. In 1945 in many areas the Filipinos were starving under the Imperial Japanese occupation. Sgt. Berger has several pictures like this one in his collection but it could not have been on Corregidor. All the civilians were evacuated in 1941 and were never brought back.
