Zo666. I know what ship that is, it is an ASR, Submarine Rescue Ship. I was stationed on USS Coucal ASR-8, 1975-77 in Pearl Harbor. This is an earlier one. The Four Point Mooring buoys are stored horizontal. On my ship they were more at midships and were stored vertical. Zo665. This view is from the Submarine Base and on the other side, across the harbor, left is the Pearl Harbor Naval Station and right, is the Pearl Harbor Shipyard. I was stationed here twice, a few feet from here, at the Submarine Escape Training Tank which was also the Pearl Harbor Diving School when I was stationed here.
