This place is of interest to many because of the many beer and other bottles are lying around. This is a 2006 March 6th image.

Zc530. That is armyjunk, a frequent contributor to the forum, at the concrete entrance way to the Battery Sunset Magazine. This is a 2006 March 6th image, on my recent visit in July this year; I did not notice that tree at the entrance. This means one more thing to check on next year.

Zc526.Camp Dau, later called Camp Del Pilar, on the 5th Nov. 1944; provided by David Metherell. On this image David zoomed in and marked some landmarks. It seems most of the buildings are intact. In regards of the Olongapo Naval Station, I always read that the Marines burned down everything before their retreat to Mariveles in 1942. This was a large new Philippine Army installation and many future senior Philippine Army Officer must have went thru here for their artillery training.
