Z194. This is one of 6 images of the 75mm Gun semi-fixed emplacement in the former Spanish Fort on Corregidor Island. There is this large bomb or artillery shell impact hole next the magazine. On my walk thru the Stockade level I came across many bomb or artillery impact holes.

Z1fots095. This picture is shot from near the west entrance to the Malinta Hill Tunnel on Corregidor Island but it also shows the place where the Fort Mills Saluting Battery was and after the war it served as the place for the flagpole for the new Corregidor U.S. Command.

I am in the tunnel and the view is back to where I entered. The brackets, apparently were for the cables to run on thru the tunnel or culvert.
