Zo226. This is the actual gate to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, part of the Pearl Harbor National Memorial. Study the URLs above as how to get a free ticket to the USS Arizona Memorial. When I did it, it went this way; the gate opens at 7am, I arrived at 6:45am and was 3rd in line. The tickets are time slotted; I received a 1st boat ticket for 7:30 am. The Pearl Harbor Visitor Center grounds are free and there is a lot to see.

Zo225. Then we make another right turn and this is the road that runs to the Pearl Harbor Rainbow Marina. Dead ahead we see the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, part of the Pearl Harbor National Memorial. The public busses drive into that access road; it even has a “Bus Only” sign.

Zo224. After we make the right turn from Kam. Hwy., we have this view, ahead is the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, left is parking for organized tour operators. Right is plenty of free parking for POWs. Some public busses even drive in here with passenger going to the memorials.

Zo223. On Kamehameha Highway (Kam. Hwy.) coming from the West, Aiea, we make a right here to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center which is part of the Pearl Harbor National Memorial. We see the new elevated Honolulu Rail System running towards the Honolulu airport. A little ahead are the entrances to the Pearl Harbor Halawa Gate and CINCPACFLEET.
