General Lim is a Filipino Hero. He was the first Filipino graduate in West Point, Class 1914. He is the 2nd name on the West Point Memorial in Cabanatuan after Col. Bunker, Class 1902. He was executed by the Japanese on his way to join Gen. MacArthur in Australia. This is one of many stone plaques that list the units and forces with their commanders who participated in the Defense and Liberation of the Philippines and they have been placed in a circle around the Phil-Am Park.
