072 in this picture and the all the next ones we are looking down on Barretto from the north ridge, just above the former Marmont Hotel. This is the NW corner of Barretto; the right street is now called Del Pilar St. where the Marmont Hotel used to be on. At the end of this street, along the beach was the Naval Supply Depot in 1945 and was used a few more years after that. Remnants of the pier and loading area still remain today.
