The brother of Earl Stone is in hospice care!
Elisabeth Stone wrote this in her Facebook page:
My father is now in Hospice care at home. There so many outstanding issues that he was hoping to end before his death. All of them have been dealt with positively wit the exception of bringing his brother home. I informed Johnie Webb of my father’s condition and pleaded with him to expedite the testing on the bone fragment that contained no DNA. They are hoping to affirm the bone is from a Caucasian male. His response was a repeat of his excuses whenever I communicate with him, just more of the same.
I am sickened that the Japanese government was immediate and successful when they were informed of the location of Sgt. Kurawa’s crash site while the United States government continues to drag their feet for 75 years. When my father passes and is placed in the family niche, I will place the only thing I have of Earl’s, a small piece of the airplane he was flying at the time of his death. Both my father and my uncle will always be loved and never forgotten by me.
