Zf173. A Navy Ship in Subic Bay, the 10th of June 2021. This is the first U.S. Navy ship I have seen in Subic Bay since my return to the Philippines on the 21st of Nov. 2020. I assume, because of the pandemic of the COVID 19 from Red China, no Navy ships have visited. So, this ship’s visit is news to me! This picture was shot from the intersection of Sampson Road and Waterfront Road.
To me it is big news that a U.S. Naval Ship finally visited Subic Bay again. But I have no idea whether it is only a one-time affair or a change in policy.
