Battery Sunset

Battery Sunset of Ft. Mills on Corregidor Island had four 155mm GPF guns, installed on Panama Mounts. They were located along and above Grubbs Trail, between Battery Smith and Cape Corregidor.

VISITORS AT THE BATTERY SUNSET MAGAZINE

For a change I will upload some pictures of people who visited the Battery Sunset Magazine.

Zc530. That is armyjunk, a frequent contributor to the forum, at the concrete entrance way to the Battery Sunset Magazine. This is a 2006 March 6th image, on my recent visit in July this year; I did not notice that tree at the entrance. This means one more thing to check on next year.

Zc531. This was a visit in March 2006 with a Coastal Defense Study Group party (CDSG, cdsg.org). We are inside the Battery Sunset Magazine, in the former Fort Mills on Corregidor. This place is of interest to many because of the many beer and other bottles are lying around. This is a 2006 March 6th image.
